This time, we put lemons, oranges, and other citrus fruits in the spotlight and explored how a little acidity can completely transform a dish.

From bright and refreshing flavors to rich and savory combinations, it was amazing to see how many different ideas came together around one simple theme.

I’m sharing some recipes we created during the event. They may not be exactly the same as what we cooked on the day, since everything was improvised on the spot and adapted along the way. But I hope these recipes will bring you back to the experience and inspire you to recreate some of the ideas we explored together.

We also had some zucchini chickpea pancakes at this event, but I didn’t get to see how they were made exactly. So, instead, let me share a very similar recipe from one of our previous events.

Thank you, Sheila, for making this mild cauliflower soup that feels like a warm hug!🤍

European Plum Coconut yogurt Parfait

Thank you, Sumika-san, for the fresh ingredients and inspiration! I recreated something similar the following day so everyone can make it at home. 🍑✨

And that was the recap of our cooking event!

When life gives you lemons, invite people over, make lots of vegan food, and share the love ✨
